And then to the Funny Farm
And another place to check out if you go through Monroe. This place was great and worth the drive and price. An 1.5 hour hands on guided tour through this couple's corrals filled with Camels, Llamas, a gorgeous Donkey, a Horse on the endangered species list, Kangaroos and Wallaroos, a crazy Turkey, a Bush Baby, etc! Their website is http://www.monroefunnyfarm.com/ Above: A Bactrian Camel (2 humps) and a Dromedary Camel (1 hump). Both were very sweet. The couple that live here got one of the camels when it was only 3 weeks old.
Below: One of the camels taking interest in my lotion or sweaty skin.

Granted they reminded us to wash/sanitize our hands thoroughly after the tour. But then again, they did show us how to feed the Llamas with our mouths. Like mother, like son, like Auntie!

Below: A baby wallaroo! They are very very cute. It was hard to give it back.
