Time with the Swansons
And Then We Were in Bellingham!
Thank you Swanson Family! We had so much fun hanging out with our friends, Brad and Lisa, and their children too! Great friends, food, drinks, entertainment (late night intoxicated wii-ing),and a comfy bed...there wasn't a better combination!
Here are a few pictures of us at the WWU basketball game that Saturday night. We had a blast! We sat in the student section and kind of realized we were getting old as one college student yelled to a college player on the other team..."He looks like he is 30!" Well we had to join in..."Yahhhh!", we yelled with him! 30? I guess the students around us were probably 18-21.
Here is Lisa and her son, Ryder, with Lily.
And below...Oh Todd. So, as a college athlete who played basketball for the University, he said he always wondered what really went on during a basketball game, because when they would come back from a TimeOut or from the locker room, there would be a commotion of college students on the court, or a lazy boy chair at the free throwline. Well, now he knows. Thanks to Lisa and I, Todd was strongly "encouraged" to go be a part of a 4-way tug of war during a game timeout. Amazingly, he did it. It wasn't exactly what was expected. Actually, he didn't know what he was even saying yes too, but the picture below shows how all 4 guys had to put harnesses on and then the tug of war line was attached to their waste. They then had to pull the other 3 guys towards their bucket and make a basket. Todd dominated, but his mini-ball bounced out of the bucket, and then the buzzer went off for the game to restart. I was so proud! Todd is the one on the far right in the dark blue!
