A Look Back...
Almost 3.5 years ago....Lily was only 8 months old when Todd and I left her for the first time overnight with Pama Jill in order to fly to San Francisco, buy a car from a guy we never met in Berkeley, in the dark at 11:30 pm, at a BART station, whom Todd had only had contact with via Ebay and the internet...we obviously bought the car, not really thinking we'd turn the car away, for we didn't really have any other plan of getting home to Lily, except for driving this 30 year old car home. We liked the car, liked the guy (from the 30 minutes we spent with both) and around 12:30 a.m., hit the very very very foggy freeways in San Fran to get to Hwy 101 and headed home. We had a few hours of sleep in a motel along the way and then hit the Redwood National Park. The trees were massive, especially besides this tiny 1974 BMW 2002tii. We were home the next day! And the car ran strong!
